But how does an idea become reality? In this blog post, we will guide you through the journey of making container accommodation a reality, to provide inspiration and help you realise your dream accommodation, all with a return on investment. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Container accommodation information<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Container accommodation is a creative and unique accommodation alternative, made from converted shipping containers. These containers are available in a wide range of styles, colours and sizes and offer the opportunity to create unique and environmentally friendly accommodation in locations where traditional construction methods would not be feasible or economical. Most importantly, containerised accommodation is flexible, easy to install and convert, and an attractive alternative for both hosts and target audiences. But who is the target audience for container hotels and container accommodation?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you browse a little bit, you can see that the scissors have been opened in terms of supply: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong><em>accommodation created under the aegis of economies of scale:<\/em><\/strong> so-called container hotels are designed to accommodate as many people as possible - the main aspect is functionality and the ability to accommodate a large number of people while serving basic needs. But how do I start? What are the steps? Below is the process for implementing container accommodation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>1. Market research<\/strong> <strong>Section<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Analysis of the local tourism market and identification of the potential customer base. It is worth considering several methods (macro-economic and other economic methods), primary research (self-produced) and secondary research (produced by others). <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Competitor analysis, price and service analysis - compared to what we want to offer in or through our accommodation. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Developing the concept and theme of the accommodation (e.g. family, luxury, eco-sustainable). At this stage you probably already have an idea of the target audience or the quality and characteristics of the accommodation. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>2. Choosing a location:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Choosing an attractive, easily accessible location: <\/strong>Unfortunately, these two factors do not always go hand in hand. If you already have a plot of land on which you would like to build accommodation, but it is not easily accessible, assess whether you can expect infrastructure development or whether the project will remain profitable if you develop it yourself. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Availability of necessary infrastructure (e.g. water, electricity, sewage)<\/strong>: Unfortunately, consultation with utilities - especially when it comes to network development - is never a quick process. If our ambition is already set, we will by all means go round the network development steps. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Knowledge of accommodation licence conditions: <\/strong>is an equally important but slow process, so pay particular attention to this in the initial phase. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>3. The cooperation process: <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In our experience, all container and modular projects depend on preparation and a predictable schedule, so we have made the steps of the process transparent for everyone. We guide our customers through the entire process: from the first personal consultation to the sketch plan, from the detailed design to the turnkey solution. The collaboration process is transparent and simple:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Assessment of the site conditions: <\/strong>if the accessibility of the site is questionable, an optional site inspection will be carried out to check whether a large truck with a flatbed or crane can approach the site and whether there are any obstacles to the transport and installation of the completed structures. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Preparation of a sketch plan and an indicative quotation:<\/strong> We will prepare an indicative offer after evaluating the site conditions and discussing in person or online. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Detailed construction offer:<\/strong> If you like our indicative offer, we will prepare an individual offer and design based on your personal preferences. Alternatively, at this point, we will ask you to pay the 10% purchase price instalment. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Contract conclusion, start of structure production: <\/strong>Once the deposit is paid, the procurement and manufacturing processes will start with the construction of the structure, <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Internal works: <\/strong>Once the structural work is complete, we will start the interior work: we will install the wiring, paint, cladding, insulation and other works.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Delivery, installation:<\/strong> At this stage, the container accommodation is ready for installation. We deliver within 15 working days of payment to the requested and already prepared site.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Costs, payback period<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Costs and payback time are the most important issues for investors. What are the main costs?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Purchase and installation of container houses: <\/strong>container accommodation accounts for the lion's share of project costs<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Interior equipment: <\/strong>for interior installations, we know that you can find everything from basic machines to the premium category. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Marketing and advertising: <\/strong>promotional costs are not a negligible part of the process: this includes marketing plans, website development, contracting with accommodation providers, print and online advertising materials, advertising costs, working with influencers, etc. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Upgrading the site infrastructure: if the utility or road network requires upgrading, this can also be a significant cost component of the project. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>4. Expected return:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There are a number of costs to be taken into account when operating a business (taxation, operating and maintenance costs, etc.), which we will not go into here, as each case is completely unique. However, in terms of expected return, the following are the main sources of income:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Accommodation rates: can be determined taking into account location, facilities, infrastructure, unique experience, additional services, competitor rates, economic situation. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Additional services (e.g. meals, programmes): the more additional services your accommodation offers, the more attractive it is to guests and the more opportunities it offers to make a profit. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>5. Recovery time:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Calculated on the basis of investment costs and expected return.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Example:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The investment cost of a 4-facility accommodation for 12+6 people is HUF 100 million.
